Universal Floor and Wall Systems was established in 1996, in response to the need for a professional epoxy flooring company that worked safely and efficiently. We soon realized that clients valued our focus on relationship. We do not disappear after the job is done; we maintain contact and regularly monitor the status of previous installations.
By providing durable flooring using clean, cost effective methods, our business increased rapidly. Soon our presence extended from the greater Chicagoland area to the international scene, as we began to serve major corporations. Largely, our business has grown due to the word-of-mouth recommendations of our customers.
All crews are formed in-house. No outside contractors are used. By using only specifically trained teams, we are able to uphold our commitment to quality control, while preventing unnecessary problems.
Robert Smith founded Universal Floor & Wall Systems in 1996, building on over forty years of experience in the field of epoxy flooring. During that period, he has gained a favorable reputation with many companies. Whether installing new floors or providing maintenance, he and his staff work safely and efficiently. Clients have long noted his ability to minimize shutdown time, saving them money and hassle. Smith has also contributed to the industry via his original wood block encapsulation floor (patented in the United States and Canada). With an emphasis on progress and excellent customer service, he continues to grow Universal Floor & Wall Systems.
